3 things I do while quarantine

The pandemic slows down the pace of life and forces you to get along with yourself.

1. Puzzle
The first thing I planned to do was a puzzle so I got a 2000 pieces puzzle. However it turned out I had limited patients and talents in the puzzle, I only finished the edge of the puzzle and the place can easily be mapped with.

2. Meditation
The second thing I do is meditate. I find meditation is an effective way to eliminate anxiety and restlessness. Based on the experience I learned from several instructors, they provided 2 ways to enter meditation. One is to close your eyes and look straight ahead. Another method is to look at a picture of a campfire in the beginning and close your eyes. Then recall everything since waking up and throw those thoughts into the campfire you imagine. For me, as a beginner of meditation, the latter method is easier to enter the situation. Now, I am working on meditation regularly.

3. Reading
The last thing I do is reading. I am a book worm. Recently, I read "Kim Ji-young, Born 1982" and I really related to the predicament of women living under the suppression of mainstream culture. It is a similar situation in South Korea and Taiwan.
